Parent-Teacher Association
Our school has a well-established and active Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), to which every parent is automatically a valued member.
Driven by dedication, energy, and a shared commitment to our children’s success, the PTA plays a vital role in bringing families together, building a strong sense of community, and raising funds that directly enhance our pupils’ learning experiences and school environment.
One of the highlights is the friendly and bustling PTA Shed, a hub where parents can connect, stay informed about upcoming events, lend a helping hand, or browse for quality second-hand uniform.
It's more than just a space: it’s a symbol of the teamwork and care that make our school so special.
Events
The PTA not only raises valuable funds for school, but most importantly it provides a range of activities for our families to bring the Rivermead community together. For example, they organise:
- Termly discos for the children
- Movie nights
- Winter and summer fairs
- Non-uniform days
- Egg-hunt at Easter.
Please consider volunteering to help the PTA during events, or becoming an active parent of the association!
Simply make contact with a member at the PTA Shed. We would very much welcome your help.
The school is very approachable and parent-school relationships are good. Children are confident and happy. – Year 3 parent
